Who We Are

Platinum Fire Systems Pty Ltd is an Australian owned, independently operated fire protection contractor specialising in the design and construction of fire protection systems for the private and public sectors.

The people behind our business share one mission: protecting lives and property from fire. With over 300 years of combined experience, our team takes a practical, common-sense approach to every project, whether it is a new design and construct installation, an upgrade to an existing system or routine maintenance of critical infrastructure.

Our Story

Platinum Fire Systems was founded in February 2009 on a simple idea: give clients in the building and construction industry personalised service across every part of their fire protection, from conceptual design through construction and installation to the ongoing maintenance of the systems we deliver.

The business draws on the experience of our Managing Director, David Patrick, who has worked in fire protection contracting since 1988. David started as a cadet fire sprinkler draftsman and has since designed, project managed and commissioned many major projects throughout Australia. Our key personnel each bring between 15 and 49 years of experience across fire protection design and construction, fire detection and alarm systems, sprinkler installation, systems maintenance, contract administration and OHS.

Where We Work

Our service area is predominantly the South East Queensland region, and we have partnerships in place to service regional areas when needed. Our office is at Harbour Point, Hope Island, on the northern Gold Coast.

How We Work

We work closely with developers, builders, architects, engineers, facility managers and building owners. Our clients get one point of contact from concept design and BIM coordination through installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance, which means fewer handovers, clearer accountability and systems that stay compliant over their whole life.
